The MICE industry includes meetings, Incentive Travels, Conventions, Exhibitions and Events. It involves surrounding industries such as tourism, marketing, trade, logistics, design, F & B, etc., and contributes to destination marketing and economic growth from the government scope. The MICE industry also provides a platform of trade and information sharing in business sector. The Department of MICE Marketing & Event Management was merged by International Business and Trade with Bachelor Program of MICE and International Marketing in 2018. In corresponding to the MICE professional cultivation project of the Bureau of Foreign Trade since 2009, the department aims at developing and training students with planning and organizing MICE events with incorporating tourism and marketing resources to become MICE marketing and projects management experts.
